Worm castings are the original "black gold".
Beyond providing the traditional N-P-K of all fertilizers, worm castings include numerous trace elements and minerals, as well as natural hormones that promote plant growth. The castings are coated with a mucus the worms secrete, which makes them naturally slow-release. These power-packed poops also are teeming with beneficial bacteria, microbes, and microorganisms that promote a healthy soil ecology. As if that wasn't enough benefits, the humus in worm castings absorbs harmful bacteria and fungi from the dirt so they won't hurt your plants - great for helping avoid the dreaded "damp off" disease for seedlings!
Use worm castings for all your gardening needs. Because of their unique composition it's very hard to over-use worm castings. Get larger veggies, greater crop yields, and more spectacular flowers by giving your plants the super power of worm castings.
Our worms do double duty at our farm: they consume our kitchen scraps (veggies, fruits and eggshells) as well as our used bunny litter. They naturally recycle these foods into nutrient-rich worm castings. Talk about the ultimate recycling program!
As with all our products, our worm castings are hand-sorted to ensure you get the castings and only the castings. Anything not completely digested goes back into the worm bins to be harvested once the worms convert it. With worm castings you needn't worry about a smell - they smell exactly like dirt!

Water Additive (Worm Tea): Mix 1 cup of castings with a gallon of water. Let sit for a week. Use to water your plants and/or as a leaf spray.
Potting: Mix castings into soil in a ratio of 1:3 (1 part castings to 3 parts soil.)

Widespread Use: Use a fertilizer spreader to sprinkle castings onto lawn.
Seed Starting: Mix 1 part castings to 4 parts sand, coconut coir, or desired potting medium. Should feed seedlings for approximately 3 months.
After Planting: Sprinkle 1-2 teaspoons around plant/within a tree's dripline and gently rake into topsoil. Repeat every 3-4 weeks throughout the growing season.
